Countdown to Kisses Advent Calendar

With it almost being time for Valentine's Day, I thought this wonderful little advent calendar would be a fun addition to your loving decor for the holiday.

One of the great things about it, is that the "Kisses" word is also just hung, so you can reuse the board to countdown to whatever holiday you like!  Just change the word.  ("Christmas," "Thanksgiving," "Our Anniversary," etc.).  I love things I can get many uses out of.  Countdown to...perfection. ;)


So, the little Valentines' bag was a shape that came with the Silhouette Cameo. If you can't find it, there are many similar boxes and bags that you can find online in the Silhouette store for download.

Cut out as many as days you want to countdown (14 for Valentine's Day, 25 for Christmas, etc.). These were each about 2.75 inches tall when made.  Then we filled them with--you guessed it--kisses. (Hershey, to be exact.) :)

The "countdown to" was simply made using black vinyl.  We have all types and colors of vinyl on our website: vinyl options.

"Kisses" was just cut out using regular cardstock.  See the picture below for sizing and font type.  

To spruce up the "Kisses" we added some small rhinestones to the letters.  If you want some Silhouette rhinestones, check out some of what we have to help with with setting them, etc.: Silhouette Rhinestones.  (We currently only have Rhinestones as the come with our starter kit, but we do offer a lot of tools, such as the "pick me up" tool and setters that can help you with more detailed rhinestone projects.  Probably not necessary for this one, but worth having for other projects.)
